As a boudoir photographer, my passion for capturing the essence of womanhood stems from my deep-rooted love for art history. Studying the masterpieces of the past has instilled in me a profound appreciation for the delicate beauty and strength inherent in every woman. Through my lens, I seek to empower women by providing a safe and nurturing space where they can embrace their true selves and see the radiant beauty that resides within. Each photograph is a celebration of femininity, a journey of love and the art of celebrating authenticity. My ultimate goal is to capture not just images, but moments of self-discovery and empowerment, allowing women to embrace their inner goddess and recognize the exquisite beauty that has always been theirs to own.

STATEMENT
I’m Carissa, I currently live in Fargo, ND with my husband, Gabe, and a large herd of animals including three dogs, two cats, and two horses.
Even though I grew up on a farm, I was obsessed with art at a young age. One of my favorite things to do was go to the North Dakota Museum of Art and wander around looking at the exhibits. Art has definitely been an important part of my life.
In addition to art, I love traveling, murder podcasts, and anything with a European vibe. One of my future goals is to get an apartment in Germany, where Gabe is from. I also love music of all types, but my favorite above all is alternative/emo rock from the early 2000s, specifically My Chemical Romance. I’m an emo kid with a European vibe.
I’ve been a photographer for 14 years and love that I’m able to make a career out of my passion for art.
MEET CARISSA
Besides being a boudoir photographer, my husband, Gabe, and I are also wedding photographers. We've been photographing weddings together for over 14 years, just as long as we've been married! Photography has taken us to many places around the world including New Zealand, Mexico, France, Germany, and Scotland. As much as we love traveling for weddings and sessions, we love working locally in our beautiful home of Fargo, North Dakota.

We offer a full client closet for you to use, as well as guidance in posing and expressions during your session.
